I think they got the alias...

If you ever find yourself veering off I-35 just south of downtown, stop in at Barbara's Pavillion - the dive-iest, funkiest, coolest, gayest gay bar in the area. And when you're veering, be sure it's on a Thursday night when it's karaoke all-night long! Here was last night's line-up (I'll try to list the songs in order of performance, but I'm not making any promises.):

Jason: "Nine to Five" by Dolly Parton
Me: "Kiss on My List" by Hall & Oates
Laura: "Let's Hear It for the Boy" by Denise Williams
Me and Ashleigh: "I Know What Boys Like" by The Waitresses
Jason: ??? (I have a vague memory of him singing another song...........)
Me: "Gloria" by Laura Branigan
Laura and Vanessa (the girl with fab red pumps): "That Thing" by Lauren Hill
Me (with help from Laura and Ash): "Forever In Blue Jeans" by Neil Diamond

As you can see, I am plagued with stage fright and really don't like singing all that much. *wink wink* Here's a funny photo of Jason singing "Ghostbusters" last summer at Barbara's:

And here's one of me on stage (flanked by Dancey Jen, Ashleigh, and Kristi) one night at Barbara's when it wasn't karaoke night. Go figure. I hate the stage, right?

Note: You can see Ashleigh wearing my She Sells Seashells necklace and matching earrings. Jen had just bought it for her for her birthday. So...man! That was a year ago almost to the day! Check it out below:
